U can hide the remote....lol. They'll spend minutes on end looking for it while u watch ur program lol. After a few minutes, they'll give up & do somthing else lol.
Besides, it's hilarious to watch them go from room to room as u sit w/ a str8t face saying u haven't seen the remote all day lol. He won't bother to manually change the channels so ur good lol.

That is funny, their ass won't get up and manually change the channel, they rather walk up and down the house looking for the remote. I remember when I was younger my brother and I had fights all the time about the remote. The remote was power ansd we wanted that power. We were fighting for the remote one time and he hit me over the head with a spray starch can. It is crazy!!

U brought back a memory of me and my cousin fighting over the remote...when we were younger.
We pulled and tugged and finally I got it...he left the room and came back & tried to burn me w/ the handle of a spoon (the whole time he was gone he was holding the spoon handle over the flame of a lighter.
But I had sumthn for that ass...I grabbed some hair spray and his lighter and tried to set his butt on fire lol. He left me alone after that & the remote was still mine! lol

I admit I like to watch female orientated programs, but I hardly watch the WE network. I luv cook shows and of course I LOVE football season!!! I can watch football all day Sunday, again on Monday lol. I have a tv in the bedroom also so I can go there & watch whatever I want to watch lol. So everyone gets a remote lol

I love Curb your Enthusiasm...but I don't have HBO anymore. So I suck. Anyway, I am a remote hog. Especially if I am at the house and my boo comes through. I am a golden girls fanatic, and just about anyone that comes over have to watch it. Sorry that's just the way it is. Don't really care for Desperate Housewives, and I hate Lifetime movies.

lmao...this is bullshit lol...me & my dude go through this all the time...it's not like i'm watching lifetime and oxygen 24/7, i watch regular ish...like first 48 (addictive), my wife and kids, FOOTBALL!!!, living single, MARTIN and other programs which i know he likes, i barely see the remote, and that bothers me like you wouldn't believe...we both pay for this shit so we both should be able to watch it...stop the selfishness lol

why does lifetime get such a bad name, they are in teh process of renovating. Xilla you like Desperate Housewives, you should try Army Wives.
im not saying you should monopolize the tv, we can come to a compromise, you take teh big screen for playoff and teh superbowl, but for ordinary games you're relegated to your room. I don't have a TV in the kitchen so if you want that Macaroni and cheese, candied yams, collard greens, cornbread and smother porkchops/ham/cornish hens with stuffing (had to give a meat variety since some may not eat pork) then you would willingly hand over the remote and go to teh back

1. I Hate the Lifetime channel. 2.I too love sports. I try to catch every game (Hometeam that is) when I can. 3. Other than that I'm addicted to Crime Scene (csi, law & order, criminal minds, ncis, etc, etc, etc) and reality shows. Thats about it.....

Besides catching up on True Blood OnDemand & impatiently waiting on the new season of Weeds, I rarely watch tv. Lifetime, WE & all that get virtually no play with me. But alas...I absolutely LOVE Animal Planet. And when Mr. Man tries the "no, we are NOT watching this" with me, I just lean back & let out a long sigh. He'll flip through the channels (that's all they do anyway) catch a glimpse of my semi-pouty face & end up putting it right back on AP so I can happily watch Animal Cops =]

My man always holds the remote. He even keeps it in his pocket when he leaves the room! I don't really have an argument because letting him watch whatever he wants keeps him quiet. If I try to hold the remote he has something to say about every single channel I stop on. It's so much easier to let him have his remote. And for some reason I think it makes him feel "manly" LOL

Ok My husband and I watch all the same shows. but we have to have two remotes why for some reason he has to have the remote like its his other dick. He hides it under his pillow at night when he goes to sleep and in the middle of the night will search for it in his sleep like he need to change the channel of his dream. ( so if he has pissed me of that particular day I take it and hide it) then I play like I'm sleep while this fool searches for the remote at 3am......fool lol
