I personally agree with some of your comments and some I think are, let's just say, not completely true and shouldn't be used to generalize the thick girl population of the world.

I am thick and that is according to the thick-o-meter! I have a huge ass and huge legs but nobody I sleep with has to worry about any spillage when the layers come a-falling off. There is such a thing as being a thick/big girl with a nice ab section, not common but it does exist *points to self* however, being a fan of thick women as well, I have to say that I have witnessed the spillage and it is really gross lol.

Since I am a thick woman I have never come across anyone who gets filled from a handful of booty and a mouthful of breast LOL! Everybody I know needs a full plate plus seconds and thirds and I offer all of that but if all you need is a sampler then I guess that's cool too.

I also am flexible as well and I take pride in that! All my skinny friends are so surprised when we have our girl talk sessions at the things I can do and that's why I love being who I am. I love a challenge and I love winning. I love the look on a persons face when they see me in action and if I need to prove it to you I'll give you a GREAT Cinderella story but that's neither here nor there.

And there is a lot of hate toward slim women from thick women because society and men have determined that slim is better and slim is the way to go and that is simply untrue. Growing up I was always the bigger one of all my friends (note I said bigger NOT big) and subconsiously I was always treated as a lesser friend. Not intentionally but people do (or used to until I found some swag about myself) display fatist (read a person who doesn't like fat people) behaviors whether they want to or not and sometimes don't even know that they are doing it. I don't believe it's hate but I believe that now a thick/bigger girl has a voice and swag to stand up to men, women, and society as a whole and let them know that just because she has a little bit more junk in her trunk or wherever her junk lies, doesn't mean she is inferior, ugly, lazy, hungry or any of the other things people try to tag on the heavier population. We are standing up and saying that yes I can be a KFC frequenter and be sexier, smarter, and have waaaaay more swag than the Cheerio Hoola Hoop Champion sneaking pretzel sticks while your'e sleeping.

Xilla, I just have to say that I am tired of hearing that slim women have ribcages showing and bones injuring these men. Also, what frustrates me the most is the men that assume that I weigh like 90 pounds. At 5"9? No sir!! Ok, my preference is for thick women. Been that way since I first started noticing females. While I do find all the myriad shapes and sizes of woman beautiful in their own way there is something about a thick woman that just calls me. Xilla said that slim women are curvaceous; I disagree. Slim women are more angular. Thick women are the definition of curvaceous. I'm a tactile person and thick women are a pleasure to hold and touch and caress. I don't like feeling ribs and collarbones and pointy elbows. As for the pounding issue, it may just be the ones Xilla has encountered... First let me say LOVE this blog.
Second, as a female who is 5'2" and between 115 & 120 NOW.. BUT use to be 5'2 and 150-160.. Im alot more comfortable and healthier in my skin. Thats the most important thing. With that said I cant tell you how many people have told me (including my mother) that I "looked" better at 150-160. When I shoot back, "thanks for your opinion, even though I didnt ask it.." I get the crazy looks. When I lost my weight, I also had my future in mind, what happens when I have my first child? How much more will spread? lol
Everyone has preferences, point blank, period. But if you try and live up to someone elses standards you are going to DRIVE YOURSELF CRAZY. I say love who you are and what you are. Do what makes you happy. If you are a thick woman and you love yourelf, GREAT. If you are slim and petite and you love yourself, FABULOUS. But I think women need to stop putting down other chicks. Why is it ok for thicker females to say "oh she is too skinny or she is too small.." But I cant say "oh she is too big.." lmao.. Nah if you can dish it, you better be able to take it. Thats for sure. I cant tell you how many times I have encountered this exchange....

Well I can talk on both sides of this. Growing up I was always small like wearing from size 0-4 even after having 5 kids i only wore a size 6, but I have always had thick legs (i was a dancer, traditional, not nasty), hips and azz, I was always told that when i blew up I was going to BLOW up and lord and behold after my six child it happened. I went from wearing a size nine when I went into labor to a 12 which I know aint huge but when your used to being able to wear single ditgits double figures are a dosey....any hoo at my largest I was wearing a size 14 ....This year I decided enough was enough even thought I carried my weight well I was tired of it I mean It does fu** wit the metal a little so since Easter I have lost 30 pounds and I'm down to a 9/10 and hope to take off about 10-15 more by the holidays...SEXUALLY though and this is my question I was still able to take the di** and I have never been one to run (think weezy paperboy) and think the sex got better when I got bigger BUT MY QUESTION IS IF YOU START OUT SKINNY AND DEEP IF YOU GET LARGER DOES THE DEEPNESS GO AWAY OR WAS IT JUST THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS FOR OLE BOY (my husband)

First off I am a slim woman, i passed petite about 5 years ago. That flexability comment Xilla is something you need to get out of your head dude. I think men have a certain expectation of thin woman that is just way too much pressure for us. I am not a dam acrobat that can do handstands and shit. Skinny, thin and boney is not the same as petite. I'm a petite woman (5'2) but I'm not skinny. Skinny is the size you are petite has to do w/ how your frame is built. Two different topics. If your post was meant for thin women ok, but petite women aren't always thin, or thick. First, to each his own. Everyone has a right to their own preferences, especially when it comes to a partner. I know I have mine.

And to the thick girls who've taken offense here, I know it always sucks to not be the chosen one, and please know that as I write this I am a very curvaceous and buxom 5'9, size 14/16, so I'm thick.

But like I said, we all have our preferences. I personally don't like short/small men. It's not my thing. But this is where knowing who you are comes in. As long as I know that I am thick and fine as hell, I could care less who does or doesn't want me. Because I want me. And because I know that their choice isn't about ME, it's about them and what they like.

Now with all of that being said, Xilla, you've been messing around with the wrong thick girls if they can't take the heat in the bed. They might've just been lazy.

I heard that. As a thick chick, I have NEVER had a problem with taking the d*&%, No scooting back or holding the stomach...I love holding my feet over my head on his shoulders...whatever. I agree, I don't like short men and they would have a FIT if they ever saw a post such as this. I feel like as a women there are so many REAL issues and size (just like skin tone) is another f*&%ed up way for SOME men (and women) to put women down. I've got 4 daughters and they are all thin. Xilla again I think that your blog is HUGELY innovative and I read this joint DAILY. With that said, I patently disagree with this post.

I am not going to extoll the virtues of thick vs. skinny women and vice versa. That's already been said and covered well by previous commentators. You are dealing with weak women, period. There are plenty of skinny women who cannot hang as well. It has little if nothing to do with weight.

I also think that you this isn't so much of a weight issue for you as the fact that you prefer skinny women because they appeal to your male ego. Is it fragile? Some men would say so. I won't be so kneejerk as to say that. I will say that I know many men who would love to take down a thicker women because therein lies a challenge.

You probably like control and you find that you may be unable to manipulate and do that with a thicker woman.

As for the spillage, I am not sure what you refer to. Are you talking about women who've had kids? What do people expect after you have children?????

I would agree that a petite women would not be fat, but that doesn't mean she is thin either. Again, I believe it has more to do with height & body frame. You can have a small frame but not be thin. I have what you would consider a small frame (small wrists & waist) & I'm only 5-3", but I am far from thin. I got hips, thighs & ass for days. So I would be considered petite based on my height & frame, but I would by no means be considered thin (or fat for that matter). But I guess everyone has their own perception of what petite is.

I know that I'm late but petite in its correct form is for short women; regardless of her size. Petite goes all the way up to a size 40 something & beyond. Its the inseam length that its measured by usually 29 - 31 or 32. Everyone is different that what makes our world so unique. Somethings are just plane ignorant though. I'm a 9/10 - 11/12 & would never in my right mind want to be anything below a 7/8. You start to look anorexic & that's not cool at all. I can't remember that girls name she was just in the issue of the all black vogue, she's a young pretty girl but that child looks like she needs to sit down & eat a bowl or grits, oatmeal, beans, or something that's going to stick to her bones. A size 0 1/2 3/4 or 5/6 is wrong in so many ways. I'm 5/1 considered petite because of my height even if I 300 lbs my pants would be petite. Men are so judgmental at times & base things on the physical when its so much more than that but 1/2 of them don't care b/c they just want to know if she can do flips in the bdrm.

Sidenote:

Does anyone watch the Tyler Perry Show House of Payne? You know the wife Ella now she's a full figured woman who is very flexible. Has anyone seen her do a split on the show? So size really has nothing to do with being flexible or not. I think that Xilla is being very closed minded with this post. Um sorry, but petite has to do with ones height. If you go in a clothing store that sells petite clothing, you will notice that the length of the pants are shorter and the the sleeves of the blouses are short as well.
And I strongly disagree with your statement in regards to more hate towards a slimmer woman than her thicker counterparts. WTF, have you been living under a rock? But then again, leave ot up to a man to make comments on shit that they know nothing about. A woman is wrong when it comes to tryin to give advice on men becuase she is not a man, but yet you have men (especially the unattrative ones) that try to define what a woman is and make up these stoopid (yea, I said STOOPID) ass classifications and think that the shit is valid.

Didn't her thyroid or some sh*t explode on her? Oprah has to constantly watch her weight, and its a struggle JUST for her to barely remain average. Are you single? I mean I think we know the answer but entertain us. It's easy to be on the internet typing up all of your prerequisites and shit, huh? E-hard body and all. Your body better be right. You'd better have a six pack, triceps and biceps poppin', nice calves, 4% body fat TOPS to be talkin' all this shit. Matter of fact, what is your carb to protein ratio? How much water do you drink a day? How much cardio and strength training do you get in? What are you supposed to eat after a workout? I'm not there to judge your answers and you can likely get all of these on Google, but you'll know if you can't answer any of these and if you can't without getting flummoxed or embarassed, you have no room to talk.

I so agree. I love em slim to thick as long they are not scrawny or fat. I think the problem with slim women hatred comes mostly with fat chicks who think they're thick and secretly want to be slim but end up either getting fatter overeating to feel better about being fat or undereating so much they end up scrawny. No, that's not a run on sentence. It's just long but true. LOL. Slim chicks taste so much better, too! YUMMY!

I strictly take em' thin. That was the original beauty when I was growing up and that's what I stick to now. 110lb to 135lb....that's how I like em' they look way better in lingerie and clothes or naked. Like my girl for instance she is ideal at 125lb 5'7". When I take her out I show her off. I can't show off a 165lb 5'5" bitch with her flab pouring over her jeans. But that's just the way I feel. I can't knock anybody else for preferring what they want or deem as pretty. Now as far you chicks complaining about low self esteem....fuck ya' life, get a new one. Thats what they make gyms for. I hate a mothafucka' that wants to blame their own self loathing on somebody else. Guess what? Nobody feels sorry for you.
