Freaknic does not sound cool at all. I was too young to attend, but my sis was in college at that time in ATL and she and her friends was sexually harrassed and her homegirl was almost raped. That doesn't sound like an awesome time to me. I truly think it was a very dark spot in black history lol. But to each its own.... Women were treated like hos and acted like hos, and I still think we as black women are tryin to recover from that sterotype that ALL black women and act like them hos down there.... That shit was all over Sally Jesse Rapheal and everything, i was appalled...

The thing with events like that...freaknik and greekfest is that those spots are havens for women who want attention, want to get fucked and want to have somoene look at them. Then you have women who want to go there to experience it, either because they don't know thats what this is for... then you have women who wantto go and wear freaky stuff but don't want anyone to look at them.
Its like if i went into a tragic event where there are a lot of real cops and i dresssed like a cop... and then get mad when people ask me for help and shit like that..

I would go to freaknik just so i can say i saw it all..not to participate..Dont know if wearing unattractive clothing or long sleeve shirts and jeans will help me not getting harrassed but if i was..i would have to expect that since i did go to an event called "freaknik"
