Women Who Won’t Date Men With Kids Are The Scum Of The Earth
I think men & women can have as many as they like, h/e with women "too much" is considered overkill and looks horrible. Some ppl see it as art and their body is the canvas. I stopped at my 2nd tatt and don't regret getting either of them. Although my tatt on my thigh was done kinda on the big side and I was a lot smaller than I am now so I kinda grew into my tatt and it 'fits' now...lol.
Now I'm not one to get what I call 'hood' tattooes...those all over my arms, chest, hands, etc. I have what I call 'sexy girl' tats...ones on places that men like to kiss and touch, and they can all be covered with simple typical clothing (tshirt and shorts...except the one on my foot...gotta rock some Jay's to cover that one!)
I love my men tatted up and to me there is so such thing as a dude having too many, but women...i guess that's my double standard. tats make someone look rugged...like they have an attitude and an edge to them...but that depends on the positioning and size and all that....I think women should embrace tattoos and get them where they want, but stay classy. I love the one on Keyshia's neck area, same with all Rhianna's tats...but Lil Mo? Jackie-O? Faith? Mary J? Monica? all them chicks are straight hood, and it shows!
lol...shame on me!
Big ass tats on females arms, legs, and chest are soooo ugly, when mary and keyshia have evening gowns on with those big tats it takes away from the look, In my opinion.
Question- Why do people tattoo thier own names on themselves??
plus i aint gettin no nigga name on me...might as well get the name of a muhfukka imma love for LIFE! lol...real talk tho!
if you got a huge butterfly tatt on ya chest in between ya breast, good luck at your corporate america ijob nterview as well as dudes; think twice about that tatt on the neck. (although that is oh so sexy).
i think its cool for females to have tatts if they small or maybe one big one in discrete places, i think its sexy.
( i got 3; roman numerals on my wrist, 3 stars on my ear, and 3 lilies on my back)
and get tatts that mean something, aint nothing worse than gettin a tatt that dont mean shit and regretting it later in life.
not everyone can rock em and still look cute.
smh @ you.
...well at least thats what people said for my first and only tattoo.
BUT i placed it in a spot where it can easily be covered if i wanted or it needed to be.
i wouldnt ever get a tattoo that couldnt be covered if i wanted it to be.
seeing that it's so hard to get a job nowadays being that america is in recession
(thanks to eight years of bush)
i wouldnt get a tattoo anywhere so that my future employer could not hire me even if i do have an impressive resume :)
As for the ladies PLEASE, PLEASE leave the hood stuff alone this means the neck and chest area. The tats on the calf where one on the ones I have is, is very sexy when you have on a dress and if you have nice arms it looks nice too but keep its sexy (not to big) and make sure the are work is tight and you can look good with your tat no matter what your wearing and where your going..
i have one on the inside of my left ankle (Cancer Zodiac symbol) cuz it is me to a tee. i have the infinity symbol on the inside of my left wrist but it is hot pink, so folks think it's henna. on the inside of my right wrist is the word STRENGTH as it is something that i needed as a reminder of just who and what i am. it looks like a birthmark from far away cuz it is a baby blue. i have 2 medium ones on my back. on my lower right hand side is the map of my homeland (Guyana) with the flag on the inside. between my shoulder blades is a heart with wings enveloping it and a halo. it's a memorial to my baby brother and i wanted it there for any and everyone to see, just so he is not forgotten. my last, most recent, is the Celtic Triquetra (mind, body and soul working as one) as that is what i wanted to focus on at this point in my life.
every one of my tattoos have been at a turning point in my life and i refuse to hide them. if people ask, i explain it to them and that helps then understand me as a person, and what is important to me. size should not matter, only appropriateness. you should be able to walk into a job interview and not have people look at you like a biker chick or a hood rat. so ladies, i preach, be responsible and think about your future whether you are taking the plunge for the first or tenth time. getting tattooed is cathartic for me. when something is troubling me and i need piece of mind and focus, i either design or alter an existing design to fit what it is i need at that moment. do what is best for you, your children/family and your future.
Honestly, I don't see myself getting any more done. But what I can't stand is people that are in their 40's that decide that they want to get one done.
I don't regret any of them, they look sexy to me.
I think it's too many when your whole body is covered, face included and there is no skin, just all ink.
