First, I am in no shape racist...if you knew me I would not have to express that. Because of my wisdom and knowledge I am able to embrace with most. And when I inscribe most I mean, one who neglects ignorance.

This spoof, which is another word for deceit, fraud, scam, or con, shows no humor. Unless, if you're a foolish person. This displays how this person defines a black person. Why I indite that is because, if John McCain was to make the same statement, this shenanigan would have nothing to define him as a caucasian.
Instead it may have ideas pertaining to campaign links. Like a toilet for "Joe the Plumber" and a moose to for Sarah Palin. Neither of those things mark him for being who he is culturally.

To make it worst, the stunt devil's attempt to apologize expresses no sincerity.

First...Obama makes a statement about being on a 'dollar bill' but she makes a 'food stamp' = stereotype
and then enhances it by adding certain foods = stereotype

Second, what is so outrageous about that statement? He may be the next president and the next president on a bill. He will be making huge history as a president. I find nothing outrageous about that.

I received your response, and appreciate your honesty. I love to speak to people who actually know what they are talking about. You are correct on so many points. I just fail to see how Obama will solve them. Lets not forget the President can not pass anything or get anything done with out the congress or the Senate. This will be the case for the New President as well as it was the case for the current. I would like to see us fight the battle in Afgan and not Iraq, but we are there and in order to leave we must do it responsibly. I would like to see us shift our efforts to Afgan as well as our kids should be fighting there too. Look, we are Americans and that in itself is something we have forgotten through this process. Obama scares me, McCain has a record, and is safe. I don't think Obama will be able to make any decissions on his own where McCain I believe could. With Sarah Palin in the mix now, I feel confident that all the domestic issues will be in good hands. Having said that, I think as Americans we can agree to disagree and should vote for the Man that we as individuals feel will meet our needs.

Ok, you have to admit it is funny. What is wrong is the fact that she knew it was an attempt at racial humor. Americans of all color need to get over themselves. There are racist people of all colors. White people in this day in age are far from the worst, but they take the most heat because they are white. When Hispanics or African Americans hate on white people no body cares. I think everyone needs to just ignore all ignorant people of all races and just try to leave the world a little better than we found it. By getting all riled up over something so dumb as this just shows that we as Americans need to grow up a little.

It's really sad to see that our country really hasn't come as far as we believe it should have. I think it's important that we realize that this kind of evil, direct or subliminal will continue to exist, and Obama supporters need to realize it will only get worse as election day draws nearer, and worse still when he is elected President. I think the best thing we can do in the face of such blatant rascisim is not turn a blind eye, but rise above, and prove them wrong. And the best way to do that is to really get out and vote OBAMA/BIDEN on November 4th

I believe this was an innocent misstake. Why is it so hard to believe that she is not a racist? Those of us who are not racist would think this was an innocent gesture, not a mean spirited act. I am so sick of the Left taking everything out of context. This country has tried very hard to move forward, but the Left just wont let it happen. Mr. Obama has said he will not play the race card in his campaign, yet every opportunity that is exactly what he and his people do. Now he does not do it, but his people are the ones sturring it up. Take Acorn for instance, he says he has nothing to do with voter fraud, yet he gave them hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep them going. Acorn has hired Fellons (People who can't even vote) to sign up voters. I hope the American People are smarter than that, and actually take a look at what they are trying to do. Just look at the News Media (all but Fox), if they did not show Obama as the better candidate, and actually showed him for what he really is then the next 4 years would be non eventfull as far as political stories to go after, this is the very reason they want him elected. If John McCain actually wins this election and he will then the media wont have anything negative to report. People need to ask Obama about his Thesis and why he has not published it like his wife Michelle published hers? The Obama camp does not want the American people to know that his Thesis was on Socialist Government! These things don't make me a racist, but rather a concerned American who is sickened by what her Country has become. Lets stand up people and say NO to what is going on. do you really think that George Bush is the worst President besides Jimmy Carter? George Bush's Presidency changed on 9/11/2001 Just 9 months after he took office. Had he had the guts to actually take out Binladen when he first attacked us, and knew where he was 9/11 would not have happened and George Bush would not have been put in the position to fight terrorism for 7 years. Nancy Pollosi must go, Howard Dean Must Go, Barnie Frank Must Go, Freddie, and Fannie must be shut down or taken over and the money should go to the people...we will get the finances of this Country back on track. You do not have to be a racist to see that people take advantage of all the freebees that the TAx payers pay for. You do not have to be a racist to see that when I am paying for my food with hard earned money, and the person in front of me uses food stamps yet their kids have on $200 shoes, and mine have Payless shoes. You do not have to be a racist to see that I earn a check, yet the person next door gets to stay home with their kids collect a check from the government, drive a brand new car, ware the best clothes and their live in boyfriend gets to live there and save all his money for great vacations etc. It does not matter what color you are, if you are the one living off the Government while the Black and White people go to work and pay taxes so that those people of all colors get free medical care, food and Hud housing. Those are the people who don't need a tax cut from either Candidate because they don't work, yet they will be the first ones to receive a check while some of us wont even get that because we may owe past taxes or made too much. It's good that you think but you're not that wise...and it has nothing to do with whom you're voting for...it's how you express your point. First of all Obama wants to take care of the working class...hint...people who work. Working people taxes have gone haywire because they have not had someone to speak for them, fight for them. I am a working, unwed, with no children woman in my late twenties. Before I opened my small business this summer, I had noticed how much I was being taxed on my pay checks in the work force. Ridiculous! All the bigger corps have had these breaks that is why the economy is crazy...the bigger the break the bigger the greed. Obama is about giving back to America not the free loaders. It's time that medical institutions get the government funding they need to continue better science and not have to charge working Americans high premiums, schools get better funding for better education (cause it is very much needed as we all can witness), better funding towards our food research to make sure we're getting good nutrition. Too many food recalls...the quality of our country has gone down...from the foods we eat, the medicines we take and even the products we use. I'm tired of helping to pay 1.2 trillion dollars a year to Iraq. That we are borrowing at that. 9/11 was Afghan...but we are not fighting them. Right now we are taking care of something that George Bush didn't finish in his term so W. took over for him.
Please think outside yourselves before you try and make a point across.

I don't watch cable news. I watch PBS, BBC, read, and listen to public radio. Of course, I'm sure that since you think FOX is the only objective news source, anything else is liberal.
The myth of liberal media is a farce. It's just a talking point from conservatives who are still resentful because of Woodward and Bernstien taking down the crook Nixon.
The news outlets I pay attention to lay out the facts and allow me to form my own opinion, rather that giving me one like FOX does to you.

Drew, Fox News on Cable is fair and balanced and allows the viewer to decide . If you have never been there I urge you to go. I have seen PBS, but as far as the BBC I am American so why would I watch a British News Channel? If you have not already noticed I am a conservative, and even though I am too young to remember Nixon and his views, what I know of him... I agree he was a crook. As far as Woodward and Bernstien I don't know who they are; should I?

uhh, yeah! If you paid attention in civics class, they're the reporters who investigated Watergate and linked Nixon to it. I have watched FOX and it is sooooooooooo clearly biased towards the conservative viewpoint it gets my blood boiling! They make stuff up, blow the stupidest little thing WAAAAYY out of proportion and hold a grudge against anyone with an opposing viewpoint. Just pay attention next time a democrat is interviewed by Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilley. They bully, constantly interrupt and hold liberals to a different standard than those who hold similar views. Usually, a liberal can hardly make a point because their shouted down. FOX panders to the right and BLAMES EVERY problem with our country on the left. Sure democrats are not perfect, but neither are republicans. I do, however, trust Barack Obama way more than any politician in a LONG time. Just because his name is not of European decent, does not make him a Muslim or a terrorist (incidentally, those terms are not mutually exclusive). Obama is not a communist, socialist, or anti-American. I would say, that those who claim those of us who lean to the left are America haters, I would call them anti-American. This country was founded on the principal that we are allowed to have our own opinions and express them freely. In my humble opinion, FOX does not allow for differing opinions. They do not encourage independent thought.
As far as BBC, they cover news from around the world, which I believe is lacking GREATLY in all of the commercially driven news outlets in the US.

Sorry, I am sure you can see from my note that I am not a blogger so I don't know the rules. Having said that, I belive it is the choice between good and evil and I would rather have good, at least he has a record; what has Obama ever done for good tax paying citizens? I am sorry to say that being a community organizer just does not cut it for me or 47% of Americans, but hey we are Americans and can vote for who ever we want to just vote for someone, but only do it if you know what they stand for. I find that a lot of white people just don't know ANYTHING about Black or Brown people period. They get their information from wikipedia if they even know what that is or watch the dumbest shows that depict black people in a coonish manner. I am not taking her side but I do know that they don't know any better. Yes, it is 2008 but all the racist behavior that wasn't blatant and was swept under the rug is now coming full surface with this election. They need to get it together. This woman Diane is a liar. I bet she'd be offended if this bill had Hilary Clinton on it with pictures of a stove and a barefoot pregnant woman perpetuating the stereotype of a woman. It is my belief that people like this woman are so afraid that the minorities will take over that it's killing them. What they need to recognize is that America is changing. Different cultures are marrying each other and having offspring, Obama is a product of that.

I even heard that some white believe blacks will try to get over if Obama is in office and that we would somehow think we're better. My question is-is this how you felt all these years having white presidents? Have you always deemed yourself superior? These same republican women need to look right in their home to find text messages to young black boys and messages on Myspace pages promising sexual favors. These same women that spew this ignorance will be the same women who will become grandmothers to mixed grand babies and you know what? That will be just great, this is America and like I said before, we're just a mixing, the Hispanic population is increasing, and we're becoming this big old melting pot and nothing is going to change this from happening....nothing.

Regardless if the person responsible for the food stamp humor was white or not doesn't take away from them committing a racist act and soliciting their project to their community so that they can subscribe to that type of thought process.

There are certain pre-existing stereotypes to all races that exist that people think of when they see a race. ie.
*Jew = big nose, cheap;
*Asian=intelligent, eating cats/dogs, chinky eyes;
*Spanish=jumping over fences, slashing tires, having tons of kids;
*BLACKS=FRIED CHICKEN, BBQ PORK RIBS, KOOLAID, economically poor, ignorant.

If I were Black and contributed my services to an election by mailing out satire of the opponent, who can be ASIAN, and it is of a Chinese take out box with a dog and cat head poking out of it with noodles being held by a cartoon version of my opponent with Chinese farmer's gear while he's in a rice field, trust me Asians will feel fucking upset. And yes, if I did this you can call me a racist. Racism applies to all races in and outside of "black & white." This example is parallel to what this fucktard did to Obama with the food stamp image.

Now, if you want to incorporate what race this woman is and then base your assessment as to whether she's racist or not is your choice. But the fact that this woman could more than likely be White makes Blacks bitch and complain because of the combative history between the two races.

Blacks, if you're so upset about this shit, I understand. Are you as upset when a rapper calls McCain a redneck along with other negative things to say about dude and then big up Obama? You do know that's the same shit, right?

White people always want to pretend that thier brain did not register the distinctly racist intent of thier statement, drawing or news article. When in fact they meant it just as we percieved it. They would never take responsibility for their comments that's why they are all cowards. Any one who is a racist is a coward, black, white, red or brown. They will say things with their friends and laugh but as soon as someone whom they know does not agree with the behavior joins in they clam up. If they would all put on thier white sheets and hoods we could better identify them. This would make it possible to exclude them from our positive civilized societies. Most of society is mixed up like myself(White, Black, Indian, Asian) and would just love to live in peace with out the ignorance.

I saw this on blogger last night and I was so upset and disappointed. In such a momentous time in history you would think they would embrace instead the white sheets and burning crosses start to fly like its 1950's.

I read the first two comments and I am shocked that you all think that its funny, clearly you can't be of African decent. These racially charged attacks only prove what many in our community keep saying about America, they will never release us from bondage mentally. We can be billionaires, run fortune 500 countries, run for president and still they want to see us as slaves.

For Christ sake, This is a man who graduated top of his class in the most prestigious law school in this country and this is what he is subjected too. The killer is that the people who claim that it was fun and games (the liars) are less educated, less successful.

For someone to say that they didn't know or weren't aware that these statements or depictions are not racist is something beyond racism or ignorance. It is complete and utter stupidity. And to think that someone is willing to take them for their word of not knowing exposes their stupidity and vast ignorance exponentially. And to think these are what we call "Republicans". My post about Palin is a counterpoint to your post that liberals are having a temper tantrum about something that you view as inoffensive. However conservatives throw a tantrum whenever a liberal says ANYTHING negative about Palin, and play the gender card.

I don't watch cable news. I watch PBS, BBC, read, and listen to public radio. Of course, I'm sure that since you think FOX is the only objective news source, anything else is liberal.
The myth of liberal media is a farce. It's just a talking point from conservatives who are still resentful because of Woodward and Bernstien taking down the crook Nixon.
The news outlets I pay attention to lay out the facts and allow me to form my own opinion, rather that giving me one like FOX does to you.

It is so hard to look at this "Obama Buck" and not be offended! It is hard to believe that this club president would not think that this stereotype would not be offensive, and then to assume that one would be dumb enough to accept her statement of "everyone eats those foods". He simply called america on it's dark and ugly past. Lets not forget about the past of America. This country has and still is doing some evil things across the globe.

In the 60's & 70's the FBI murdered it's own civilians. Chairmen Fred Hampton and many say JFK & MLK Lets not forget the ugly past of segregation and oppression. So to say that Rev. Wright didn't have some valid points of WARNING america of it's past and why these events might of happened.

As far as this... well she did insult our mother. These racial stereotypes hurt all people black and white. They remind of how much further this country has to go and that we need to speak about racism and division. There have been one too many times when someone was written off as racist even if that was not his/her intention. I'm willing to give her benefit of the doubt, cause after all nobody's perfect. But I hope she doesn't do it again. And it's far too sensitive of a time for people to begin racism when the country and the rest of the world is in recession..

Let’s try and put it in perspective. You work for a company for 20+ years. You place your trust and your family’s livelihood in their hands. One day you become employee of the month and instead of a bonus and hanging a nice photo of you on the wall, they give you nothing but the worst imaginable depiction of you possible. Then they tell you to shut up and go back to work!
