  so how much would a guy consider is too much for a girl? i hate when that question is asked but i just let him answer first in case i would need to subtract a few in order not to surpass HIS number!

  I too tried the wonderful scientific formula. It wasn't close, but it did get close to my "published" number which solidifies the fact that my lie was indeed an accurate one.

  I have never given the real number. I gave him the # that he should know about... I agree any man that didn't hit it right, didn't complete the task, or any people that were "secret lovers" don't count (or an that were mistakes or you're embarrassed u went there with). I only included those who I thought he might find out about...so I appeared to be honest. Oh...and I never believe any # a man would give me. Tell him if he doesn't hit it right he'll find his name on that infamous "ghost list" too where he DOESN"T count! j/k

  I never ask a dude this question and I don't answer, my question is about STD tests. I don't really think it's anyones business how many people they've slept with, plus if I do ask a dude and the number is something I consider ridiculous, he's not hittin', MAJOR turn off. As long as your bill of health is clean that should suffice.

  First this formula is terribly wrong as hell it added like 4 extra people (thinking about sleeping with those 4).
  Second no one every believes my real number anyway it's quite low for the skills that I posses.

  Wow, I love your logic but I agree with Princess. I never needed to lie because my number was ridiculously low and I'm pretty sure that guys thought it was a lie anyway. So if you have a low number should you add to it to make it sound more believable?

  With women the number is ALWAYS less than what it should be because they not tryin to come off as a slut even tho girls are more friskier than guys. I always add 5 on to whatever number the girl throws out. And guys MINUS 5 cause they stay tryin to look better than the next. Ya dig ?

  For the most I count almost everyone. I leave out the ones that were either wack or we just sleep together once. I have embelished my number a few times when I was asked, but now I try to embrace my number. I am not ashamed because I have learned alot. Do I regret some of the folks I was with. HELL TO THE DAM YEA. But I can't change that shit now, all I can do is keep it moving

  That's how I feel. I never worried about my number since it would always pale in comparison. And I never asked b/c I was afraid I would be appalled by his number and ultimately turned off. =o

  Not to sound like a hoe, but I stopped counting a long time ago. The number of people I slept with is not a concern of mines, so as long as I protect and respect myself that number does not make or break me.
