Wow, wow, wow what a difference a year makes. I soooo needed this message like right now. I told myself that I have to grind this year because I want my life to be significantly different next year. I was recently laid off from my job, but I am so blessed that I am. I am putting my new found time into my new young adult novel and other creative projects. I even blog a little more than before!

I had to comment on this one here. I loved your personal entry. It's quite an inspiration to see how far you've gone in a year. You determination is remarkable and I know you'll continue to grow. Your story is a reminder to those who swear that they can't do it, that they CAN as long as they don't give up. You're right by saying you carved your own lane, because I've never seen a site like yours!

I remember those long 45 days... I would check in daily to see if there was a new post or comment on how you were doing lol... It's great to see a black man to stay so dedicated to what he wanted to do. It's hard to find that... Thanks babes... The myspace days were popping. I wish I still had them here with me.. I remember i would post a blog and it would be 50 comments by the time i pressed publish and then click homepage. Those were the days.. way more people but it's less personal now.
