I think there are a lot of problems, including shortening attention spans. I clicked the video and then got bored (probably speaks to the cliche'dness of the vid) and then proceeded to check my mail while listening to the song. Back in the day, videos used to be on ALL the time and Saturday mornings/afternoons were when you could just chill around the house and watch all the new videos on the countdowns.
