It's funny you touched onthis because I was having a conversation with the woman I have been dating for the last month. We were talking about one night last week when I invited her back to my place after hanging out that night and she thought I was trying to hit it, but all I really wanted to do was be close to her in a quiet place so that I could see what she "felt" like. I needed to touch her and see how she responded to my touch. I needed to smell her and allow her to smell me. I like to do this thing with a woman where we put our noses very close together and breath in the breath that the other exhales. I get a very keen sense of a person doing this. At any rate, she came over and we non verbally and non sexually communicated and it was dope. I am really digging this chick.

I know you know. And I hear you about how hard it is out here. Hell i'm out here too. I am a firm believer in how things feel to me and being able to spend time with someone before I sleep with them and get to know how they feel to me in different ways is important to me. Thats alright. And you are the last of a dying breed. Many a man don't wanna hear that in this day and time. They think because of a couple of conversations and meals it's all G. Not always the case. I can honestly appreciate a man that doesn't jump off in every woman that he deals with. There has got to be a reason to have sex with someone other than to satisfy your carnal desires.

I ain't been nowhere. I just haven't posted anything. I been doing a lot of running around and just been reading the blogs.
I still have hope for relationships because I for one think we need to be in and have relationships and focus on making them as healthy as we can. I ain't even close to perfect, but I hae an idea of who i am and i try to represent that. I've been spending a lot of time with this new lady lately and things have been real nice.
And I am old skool Chi-Town. lol

Yeah, my faith in the possibility of healthy relationships is being restored, slowly but surely, and by complete strangers no less :-)
None of us are (perfect) but its refreshing to read the thoughts of men who aren't afraid to express themselves...Xilla's situation really made me rethink my whole way of dealing with men/relationships...
The power of positive attitude/thought and having an open mind/heart is amazing, things are changing already
