well to be honest, i hate posts like this, because in reality if men did what they were supposed to do and STOP being parttime, when they feel like it, when its convenient fathers..i dont care what type of attitude a woman with a mans illegitimate child has if he aint there 100 percent he deserves it. Until men become full time parents then he has no right to say shit...or better yet if they dont want the drama dont create babies with women you know you cant make a lifelong commitment too, or atleast start off on a good foot..but people today start off bad..

I half way agree with you. I feel like men really do need to step up and not create difficult situations by only being there to drop of diapers and play w lil man for a few hours a week/month/year. That sht definitely needs to stop being accepted as a job well done. But I will also say that
1. Sometimes relationships really just dont work out. But being a parent is BIGGER than being in love with your childs mother or father. Even if you cant make a lifelong commitment to a childs mother/father you should make that commitment to your own child.
2. The childs mother shouldnt be using the baby as bait to lure him back into her arms. Thats not what they are for.
3. A dead beat father doesnt excuse a dead beat mother. He might not be doin what hes supposed to but a woman doin less than what shes supposed to for her child by having a disgusting attitude because her feelings are hurt is also young minded and unnacceptable. He might deserve to be stressed out but if you have to use your child to stress him out, or even if your child gets hurt by your actions, then you are way over the line of what is okay and what is not.

Yeah I feel you, nobody's perfect and alot of single mothers are dealing with real inconvenient situations. But that reminds me. Did y'all know that the statistics for child molestation are around 65%? And it goes even less reported in the black community. I know thats like a gross PSA bomb to drop in here but its important to not be casual about who you let watch your kids and who you bring around them, sitters included.
