BlogXilla For Sexual Intellectuals: An Obama Reminder - The March Down University Ave

I'm old enough to remember when all was separated blacks and whites, from schools, stores, doctors, movies, where you could live, to the jobs you could hold. Even though we are now able to attend the same schools, stores and even eat in the same restaurants, I don't understand why so much time is spent in living in the past. The past can not be changed it is over and done with. As Americans we each have the same rights, and our children can move forward with the same hopes and dreams for the future no matter what color or ethnic background. As far as voting for Obama or McCain, vote for the best American to run OUR Country.

Surely as a nation we have outgrown this. As a white female with 3 young children I want the best president for our country, whether he or she is green, purple, or plaid, I don't care, it is the person. I can not tell you any one person that I know whose vote depends on a persons color. When it comes down to it, everyone will vote for the best person. If anyone does vote because of color maybe they need to contact : new-york-therapist@goodtherapy.org or someone for help. Sometimes I believe it is just an excuse to use if a woman or someone loses.
