Douch 5-6 x's weekly, Deodorant AND Scented Lotion down there?

I know it's late but this is beyond giving standard advice from "regular" women, is there a healthcare professional in the house to address this seriously unhealthy "hygeine" ritual?

Exactly ladies. The vagina is healthy with just good old soap and water. Some soaps are irritants so I personally use johnsons baby wash. better than any summer's eve, LOL. A douche on occasion is fine, but totally not neccessary...like you said Domi it can remove the good bacterias and mess up the Ph balance.....

The douching is always a no-no. When you douche you wash away good and bad bacteria and it becomes a breeding ground for BV. Shaving and douching is a must for me. I douiche 5-6 times a week. I couldn't imagine having sex and not douching just bathing. I douche if I don't have sex - its just as normal as bathing/showering. Wearing deodorant and victoria secrets lotion down there is a must. I love perfuming and lotioning my thighs and my whole area there.

I feel a woman should smell and look just as clean there as on her neck where we spray our perfume all the time.

To be perfectly honest some of these men need to shave. Some grow some awful looking hair - its a gross site. Some have too much under their arms - just a long bed of gross looking hair. If your vagina has a malodorous scent it's a sign that something is wrong and it has nothing to do with not douching or not putting deodorant (unfathomable) or perfume down there...

The natural "healthy" vaginal scent is very light - it does not stink but it also does not and should not smell like flowers or perfume.

Those men that told you that are probably right but only because the women they have been exposed to don't exercise proper hygiene and/or do not have healthy vaginas.

If it stinks after you cleanse with a mild soap and water then you have a problem and you should see a GYN...STAT
